Horsemanship classes are non-riding classes that give participants the opportunity to learn more about all that goes into caring for our equine friends. Participants new to riding and horsemanship practice basic skills such as haltering, leading, grooming and tacking up. As beginning riders acquire these skills, they spend more time in the saddle during lessons.
Participants who have attended multiple horsemanship classes may work on more advanced skills such as lunging and wrapping legs.
